The Pentaphobe sent me this, and I had forgotten about it. It seems appropriate on several levels right now:
"What's money anyhow? A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do." - Bob Dylan

That's the sort of quote one might expect from a man who has money! Money is what makes it possible to do many of the things you might want to do "in between".
Hi, Toby
Hi Chris#!
I agree, but I think freedom can be found at the top and the bottom. I mostly lived without a penny, and still found lots of things to do 'in between'. I had a few years (film work) when I had spare cash, and travelled a bit more, etc.
Stuck in the middle and worrying about money, insuring yourself, hedging your bets, borrowing, worrying again. That whole thing causes grief.
Henry Miller told me I could just do the things I wanted, anyway. He decided to write. I decided to juggle. Universe gave us both enough to eat, and it works if your needs are minimal.
